Drywall Tools and materials you will need:
- The Perma Patch by: Strait-Flex
- 12″ or 6″ drywall taping knife
- Drywall mud pan or hawk
- Bucket or tub of all purpose joint compound
This drywall miscut repair tool makes it real simple to repair drywall miscuts around can lights and electrical outlet boxes. I like to use a 12 inch drywall taping knife to lay out the mud. Lay it out just a little bit wider than the paper drywall tape and then take the corner tool and smooth it out in one long pass before applying the drywall tape.
My conclusion after trying The Perma Patch by: Strait-Flex for the first time on this remodeling project is that whether you’re a contractor, handyman or even a home improvement DIY’er.
