Here in my area most of the high end homes have this very elegant texture that also has a Mediterranean flair to it as well. Skip trowel has been around since the old lath and plaster day’s and is still a very desired texture till this day. Skip trowel can give any room an unique, modern and elegant feel!

“Orange Peel Texture

Orange peel texture is used a lot in kitchens and bathrooms because of its cleanability and durability in the high use areas of a home. Orange peel texture has stood the test of time and out lasted all of the various drywall textures that have come and gone since the 1970’s through to the early 1990’s. Needless to say that orange peel texture is on millions of homes ceilings and walls!
