In today’s Part 6 video of the series I’m going to show you how to hand tape a perfect inside drywall corner fast and easy! With these DIY drywall tips you’re going to be able to get a perfect inside corner every time!
How to hand tape a perfect inside drywall corner with paper tape: Diy Drywall:

First, I had to roll out the tape to the length of the corner and tear it. Then, I creased the tape right down the middle by folding it in half. Next, I took my 12 inch taping knife and applied joint compound as a bed for the paper that was thinned down to a thick pancake batter consistency.
Now I put the corner tape directly in the corner pointing the crease. Once I have that in place I take my 6 inch knife and smooth out all of the access joint compound underneath the tape. Once that part is complete I let dry and repeat.
Lastly I took my 12 inch taping knife and applied the third coat of joint compound to both sides of the corner and then skim coated the entire sheet of drywall and the wall where the wallpaper had been removed.
